As a CA or CMA, you’ve progressed up the levels of the accountancy hierarchy – as an Accountant, then Senior Accountant, Controller and Chief Financial Officer.

You’ve done all of this for over 5 years in a Canadian manufacturing setting, tool & die is a strong asset, with a strong, influential hand in operations. Refusing to be relegated to the vaccuum of a distant corner office, you were always hands-on, welcoming every chance to soak up collateral knowledge from the Engineering, Production, Quality and Administrative departments.

You’ve done all of this to, someday, catch the eye of a company owner who’s built and grown a fledging shop into a global, multi-facility concern. And so, your opportunity has come.

From the corporate offices in Windsor, you will report to the President in developing and implementing accounting systems and capital budgets, spearheading acquisitions, controlling banking and investments and overseeing all properties and assets in a multi-currency environment. You will travel overseas regularly, with appropriate support in translation services and cultural awareness.

You will be responsible for all of the subsidiaries’ financial and administrative staff. You will also oversee the IT structure and become expert in a newly introduced ERP. Any you will prepare and communicate financial forecasts for the President and be able to clearly present state of the company updates to the management team.

With a salary median of 150K, you will receive the commensurate compensation and full benefits.
